The subproject questions out of a trans- and international perspective  on the relation of the dynamics of “Extended Security” the transition of statehood after the “Boom”, while screen that very dynamics for  the hybrid policies “Nuclear” and “Aging”. By taking up several important research topics of the first funding phase (Environmental and Technical Security; Biopolitical Security), the project analyses further overlapping dimensions of security (Military, Economic and Social Security). The temporal perspective of the project will be expanded. Thus includes the decisive impetus of transformation in the late 20th century, which contemporary history has just started to reveal.
