The Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees monitors the legality, appropriateness, and economic efficiency of the management. It has a comprehensive right to information and decides on all fundamental matters concerning the institute.

It comprises representatives of the federal states, the federal government, universities, and research institutions, as well as four individuals elected by the general assembly.
