Die Tagung ist eine gemeinsame Veranstaltung der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Bibliotheken und Dokumentationsstellen der Ost-, Ostmittel- und Südosteuropaforschung (ABDOS) e.V. und der Slawischen Bibliothek in Prag (Národní knihovna ČR – Slovanská knihovna), in Zusammenarbeit mit und Unterstützung durch das Museum für tschechische Literatur (Památník národního písemnictví – Muzeum literatury), die Tschechische Gesellschaft für Slavistik, Balkanistik und Byzantinistik (Česká společnost pro slavistická, balkanistická a byzantologická studia) und das Institut für Slavistik der Tschechischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (Slovanský ústav Akademie věd ČR).
