Fellowship Programme
The Herder Institute offers, in collaboration with the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC) and the Gießen Centre for Eastern Europe (GiZo) at the Justus Liebig University in Gießen, scholarships for doctoral and postdoctoral students for a duration of three years, as well as short-time fellowships. The Leibniz Graduate School is dedicated to research on growing internationalisation of science and the travelling of concepts and forms of organisation in a Central European East-Western context. Six doctoral and two postdoctoral researchers are currently working on their projects.
Herder-Scholarships
The Herder Institute awards scholarships for a duration of 1 to 3 months to researchers who are planning a stay at the institute to make use of our research library and scientific collections.
